im looking for a list of all the hand luggage items that are now restricted?
i know about knives, sharp objects etc,but i heard on the news that even mascara is no longer allowed....can anyone help me?
The list includes-
Firearms of any type including replicas or toys
Explosives including fireworks, flares, toy gun caps
Gases including compressed gas cylinders, tear gas, mace, pepper sprays, household aerosols
Flammable materials including petrol, lighter fuel, paint, thinners, non-safety matches, fire lighters, flammable glue
Poisons including weed killers, pesticides, insecticides
Corrosive substances including batteries, mercury, drain cleaners
Other dangerous goods such as magnetized or radioactive material, toxic or infectious substances like laboratory diagnostic sample
For specific destinations - UK and USA do not carry any liquids, gels or aerosols which would equally mean -
1. Wines and Spirits in retail packaging or containers - which is otherwise permitted as duty-free baggage
2. Medical or toilet articles such as hair sprays, deodorants, perfumes and aftershaves
