When making a solar oven, can I use plastic bags instead of newspaper for insulation?
I'm using a cardboard box with flaps and aluminum foil. The directions call for me to line the inside of the box with newspaper, then cover that in aluminum foil, painted black. Can I use plastic grocery bags instead of newspaper to insulate the box?
Don't use the plastic because it could melt.
