Question ABout wearing A Tennis Skirt?
I begin playing Tennis. I wear the traditional pleated skirt. When I go to the bar after a game, I sit on one of the bar stools. I don't want to wrinkle the pleats in my skirt. So I usually sit so that the back of my skirt hangs off of the back of the barstool so I don't sit on it. Is this the appropriate way to sit, or should I be trying to smooth the pleats out and sit of the back of the skirt? Thanks.
You should sit on your skirt instead of the back of the skirt hanging off the barstool. All you need to do is smooth the pleats out before you sit on the skirt, and when you do that, the skirt will not wrinkle. Besides, I think with a short pleated skirt, it is more appropriate to sit on the skirt instead of having the back hang of a stool.
Even though I am a guy, I don't mind wearing skirts and I have some pleated skirts, so when I wear them, I sit on the skirt and it doesn't get wrinkled.
So,when you wear the skirt, just smooth the pleats out before you sit on it, and once you get up, the pleats will return back to the original shape.
