what does it mean if a towel bar is without the mounting?
Probably a stupid, stupid question, but I'm trying to find an easy to install towel bar/toilet paper set. I was looking online and I saw some that said "without the mounting" and I'm just wondering exactly what that means. I know it obviously says without mounting, but I really don't know what mounting is.. since I don't do alot of home projects.. Thanks, and I apologize if this is a self explanatory question...
Buy the towel bar and tissue dispenser at Lowe's. Instructions are inside the box. There's a stamped piece of metal which you mount to the wall with screws. Box includes plastic inserts, use these if only in sheetrock, if wood, just use the screws. Then hang the bracket on the stamped piece, and tighten the set screw. You need drill, bits, # 2 screwdriver, and jeweler's screwdriver. Takes about 5 minutes or 10 if you've never done it before. Better to use a level if available for the towel bar.
