Can a Tamagotchi (the virtual pet toy) be a normal animal like a dog or a cat for example?
i recently got a bout of nostalgia and bought a Tamagotchi off ebay and im waiting for its arrival. it didn't specify what the pet would be though, i remember having a chicken when i was younger but i can't be certain.
Tamagotchi are basically little virtual almost "alien-like" pets that aren't really regular pets. Giga pets (these are rare, I haven't seen one in a while) are like that, but you can have regular pets, like dogs, tomcats, and hamsters, but you can also have pixies, puffballs, and a lizard-thing.
